The worn-VHS layer is what sells the '90s OVA look — clean toon shading alone reads modern. A touch of chroma bleed on the red/magenta edges and slightly lifted blacks usually push it from 'filter' to 'tape that's been rewatched'. Priss looks great in it.

I always figured maybe they could have some kind of auto-adjusting pads inthe bottom of them to deal with that, though in canon design they probably don't lol
