With all my heart I hope Talarico wins, but this kind of thing has to stop; it is one of the reasons so many Democratic voters hate the Democratic party. And it's not a Talarico problem; it's a Democratic consultant-class problem.

This is such overcomplicated three-dimensional chess shit. Push your priorities through Congress when you have the power to enact them and if the president vetoes them, that just shows that *he's* the roadblock to progress and voters need to re-elect you and replace him.
