Janelle Bynum can’t sign onto a letter defending one of the most vulnerable Black women in America right now. This administration is picking on Ilhan because they know as a refugee, a Muslim woman, a Black woman, many will ignore what happens to her till it happens to them. Ilhan deserves better.

It’s bewildering to be sitting inside this crisis as a parent and know that some electeds are saying “not now” or “not this way” or “not my job” - political cowardice is how we got here and I’m so grateful to @councilorgreen.bsky.social and others who are meeting the moment for once!!

it actually is making me a little crazy to see people treat “got a guy with the same name to get on the ballot” as the height of scandal. people have used more cutthroat tactics to win student council seats!
