New data from Israel’s participation in ROPAD genetics study raises big questions. Genetic testing across ~2700 Parkinson’s folks showed only ~19% had a known genetic contributor. That leaves >80% of cases unexplained even among those w/ a family history. Environment? @parkinsondotorg.bsky.social
