I've had to block a few people who were so upset by me saying this that they felt compelled to wish the worst horrors of living under GOP rule on me, and joke's on them. I'm living all those horrors and I still feel this way because I'm not a quitter, I'm a perimenopausal eldritch god of spite.

and I honestly think it's the romance writer in me, because 1) we have all rewired our brains to think that just when everything goes to shit, you find your people and fuckin fight like hell to get to the happy ending & 2) it is literally impossible to make me give a shit if folks think I look silly
