Don't stunt cast directors for animated films. Here's what happens: the famous director gets a bunch of money, then they hire someone who actually knows the animation pipeline to do the actual directing work and they get paid pennies comparatively and no one learns their name publicly.

I mean obviously it's preferable to have no billionaires at all, but since that's not gonna happen, they might as well make themselves useful and become patrons of bespoke handcrafted monuments to the arts, while alleviating the burden of imminent bankruptcy from ambitious studios and their creators
