Found some places to walk. Cliffhanging at times. Rock slides knocked out the old barriers occasionally. There’s a bunch of official hikes that require timed entry (over tourism) but you can find other places. Passed 5 people over 4km (mostly all climb up/down).

Madeira is a place on earth they say but I’m not sure. Drove to the north coast today. Best drive of life (or tied maybe w a few places). The infrastructure here is BANANAS. Dozens of tunnels. Some 3km long. The landscape is perforated. Civil engineering fantasia. Holy.
