And now some of the exact same people are once again telling everyone else to facilitate fascism based on convoluted theories that defy everything we know about how politics in this country actually work. It's just exhausting. The sad thing is that it doesn't even matter.

I remember back in the day a reviewer said a play I cowrote and directed was kind of abstruse and pointless (he wasn't wrong), but instead of getting bent out of shape I walked around for the next month smiling and quoting the part where he said "it had more nudity than I've ever seen in a play".
