And that’s where we are as of right now. I’m about to go pry her out of bed (she was up way too late last night writing the code for the LEDs) so we can go wire everything up. Oh, and this year we also upgraded the signs that go at either end of our street to lure people. Now they’re colorful!

2025 switched from the single cup tipping candy down the tube to a revolving carousel of open-bottomed cups atop a piece of cardboard. Each time the button was pushed the carousel would advance to the next cup, dropping the candy through an opening in the cardboard. It was extremely Mad Scientist.

I've watched 12 of the movies on my October horror list. That's more than I have in YEARS and I think it's a great sign for my brain trauma recovery and learning about what I actually need to focus and be comfortable enough to watch a whole film. I'm working hard and it's finally paying off.
