I think that we should all sit down today or tomorrow and decide what day we are going to call it a wrap for the year. I’m thinking somewhere around Nov. 18th or so because we have been through a lot.

Omg yes! We did Satanic Verses last sem and Moby Dick this sem. I think next time we teach it, we’ll do Middlemarch or some big new novel

Not the same but my Big Books class on MOBY DICK is overfilled & so inspiring. Students crave intellectual stimulation wherein they’re not just challenged but challenged *together*. That crafts a rich community where students can unashamedly practice & flex their close reading & theoretical skills.
