Whenever the folks at my polling place say “thanks for voting” I always say “thanks for volunteering!” And they always seem surprised. But they’re doing an important job! In my neighborhood it’s always older Black ladies so maybe the surprise is a random white girl is being polite and respectful 😂🤪

The subway has been something that has just really scared me in terms of Covid safety given how bananas crowded it can get. But I just needed to finally get my shit together and be brave and do it. OBVIOUSLY I’ve got my N95 on.
