I've been wondering whether to visit Portland tomorrow. I'm worried it might be a bit foggy/misty there Sunday morning.
Show PostExcellent day in Norfolk, a misty sunrise walk from Hunstanton to Heacham, and found this stunning male Black Redstart, such brilliant birds. Then on to Kelling for good views of the Isabelline Wheatear, with 20+ Twite by the end of Salthouse Beach Road. Hopefully the rest of week is just as good!
Show PostSt Agnes, Cornwall: the N coast is often productive for scarce migrants to settle. This imm male Desert Wheatear, on the moor near the coastal lookout, was a class find by DE early this morning.
