i feel like it's hard to find truly untranslateable phrases in english but it was really funny having Marguerite say "bless your heart" in re7 and thinking to myself "hrmm that probably doesnt translate into japanese perfectly" lol

I've found that grants usually go to people who are similar to those in charge of dispersing the grant. they want to see what they think reflects them. this means that people can be denied opportunities on account of their accent, zip code or any other indicator of their socio-economic status.
