If Sam Altman thinks there's 95% downtime of RAM on consumer products, he should rent it from us, like how the grid buys energy from people with solar panels. It's the least he could do for driving up consumer prices by almost 500%

This is EXTREMELY pernicious. Altman effectively wants to "streamify" computing power, making you rent/license it -- putting not just AI, but *anything* you do with a computer at the whim of data center owners; just like streaming services control which titles subscribers can access.
