We're supposed to just put shit out and expect nothing in return not even some basic respect from fellow fans We work so hard and put our stuff out bc we want to share our love for the source material and our ideas and just communicate but we can't even ask for community all of a sudden?

No it's fucking not It's not about credit or theft we're not media companies it's about people viewing writers as CoNtEnT machines instead of peers People act like the world is ending bc AO3 is down bc they want to gorge themselves on CoNtENt🤪🤪🤪 and don't give a shit about fandom being a community

We can't get commissions cuz very few people recognize the amount of work that goes into writing something bc everyone can type so how hard can it be 🤪 Then we say "hey dont share downloads of my fics to public drives" and people say "well ackshully ☝🏽🤓 ur using someone else's IP isn't that ironic"

(side note it's NEVER actually critique cuz the bitches saying this have no idea that critique isn't the same as nitpicking and getting your panties in a twist bc the fic doesn't cater to YOUR specific taste but whatever that's not the point rn)
