/2 I didn’t join in & that “headway” died & never came back. I was absolutely disgusted & recognized I was okay being a leper amongst my grade essentially. Most people in my grade WERE assholes, tightknit amongst themselves, and I realized thats who you needed to be if you were “with” them 🫠

/3 if I was a better person I would’ve actually said anything to defend her, but I didn’t. Learning backbone at 25+ is a hard hard journey when survival meant wallflowering (at home & in life) 🫠🖤
