Patrick Stewart took a video of him writing a check next to a bucket of ice. when he was finished he took the bucket like he was going to dump it. and then he made a whiskey on the rocks (IIRC) and raised the glass to the camera and took a drink. Patrick Stewart understood the assignment.

I understand why people took the dumping ice videos, for the spectacle. But every time I saw one my ND-ass said "you did not understand the assignment! Your video is a public declaration that you refuse to donate even if you did!"

This is probably the least of his accomplishments but one thing he did was to make the only Ice Bucket Challenge video that I enjoyed. The Ice Bucket Challenge was that if you got a challenge you were supposed to either donate to ALS research or post a video dumping ice on your head.

when i could watch it, it was fuzzy as hell and in black and white (because that was the tv we had that could do UHF range) but I watched it whenever I could anyway. When I finally got to watch it in color it was like Dorothy walking out of her house into Munchkinland.
