I've loved him since I, Claudius. The Trek episode when he was being tortured and didn't break was truly a masterclass. Then he gifted us during the pandemic by reciting Shakespeare's sonnets. Good grief. This one hurts.

Sir Patrick had a huge influence on me in my youth. Not just his role, the best Captain of them all (Sorry, James T.), but Sir Patrick himself. I will dearly miss him.
