'Beatus vir, qui non abiit in consilio impiorum' ('Blessed is the man who walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly'). The Blackburn Psalter, c1250, in the Hart Collection donated in 1946 to Blackburn Museum, including 26 medieval manuscripts, 52 incunabula and more than 1000 pre-1801 printed books.

Oh dear, I am just heading out for another day on my feet and things I thought would be fixed are still wrong. Good job I don't need the doctors at the moment as now all our surgery websites are offline. Currently, I spend a lot of time offline through choice. Maybe that choice is being enforced?

The ancient St Non's well on the Pembrokeshire coast near St David's is still used for offerings of flowers & coins. It is a vigorous coastal spring surrounded by old stonework structures & earthworks & may well predate the medieval period 📷 My own, September 2026
