Not to mention the obsession with giving yellow cards for harmless things like time wasting on a goal kick, kicking the ball away, standing outside the technical area, etc, while dangerous tackles go completely unpunished.

3 match ban for his reaction and not even a yellow for the tackle on him. Ridiculous in every sense of the word.

Looking forward to countless other examples of (actual) violent conduct and kick outs not being punished this season, and then being told we're the crazy ones. The people running the game are allergic to common sense and they aren't bothered about player safety - only about optics.

Not a foul or a red card for Bruno Fernandes, but Dowman's is?? Webb described Fernandes’ initial kick as “petulant” rather than violent and said it should have resulted in a yellow card. No consistency, just making it up as they go along and doubling down on backing their own.

Also it should be ABBA.
