Their response was that yes, they said they'd sell it for cash but they never would have offered this deal for cash and they meant only if we traded in. Which is...not how any of this works!

Had an email offering to buy my old car as is for cash and when we showed up to sell said car, were told that we cannot rely on "offers in writing" because those "don't bind the company." New laws just out there being created every day, apparently.

So the dealership told me to go fuck myself (abridged). Anyway, stay the hell away from Group1 Automotive dealerships and Audi of Grapevine Texas specifically. Worst experience with a dealer in my life and now I have a petty vendetta.
