I wasn't aware of her, but her FB page is quite something. I happen to know one of the foster carers pictured on the steps of Downing St. who she thinks isn't "representative." An experienced foster carer who advocates and campaigns - they'd seem a good fit, tbh.

We have not long begun parent and child fostering and the allowances are very generous, because you have to be there 27/7. I don't understand the weird stigma about being able to actually provide for one's family.

Sod it, here's the piece. See for yourself. Don't move for a better life and then moan about it when it turns sour. Move again! It worked before. But stop complaining, because at some point you need to engage with the system and try to make it better, rather than trying to parachute your way out.
