i can already feel the numb zone noticeably shrinking as the nerves start to wake up which at first felt like mild stinging but is progressing to a light itchiness. its more numb in the center but im feeling occasional pain from there too which is also a sign that theyre reconnecting

Nipple sensation will always be different when the stalk is cut (it usually is). I have a little bit of sensation but it's more underneath them, if that makes sense. Pinching them feels more like pinching skin, a dull pain that I don't find pleasant

I am about 2 years post op and yes, most sensation comes back. I was actually hypersensitive for a week or two around much of my torso, itchiness from fabric was an issue so I only wore extremely soft shirts for a while

mine were left intact and don't directly respond to touch yet but if i tap at a few spots 1-2 inches away it'll sometimes send a zap to them which is interesting
