I'm GenX. Technical Project Manager. Laid off in Nov 2025. I've put in thousands of job applications. I had one real person respond out of all those submitted. Any of the other responses were AI or wanted me submit a video of myself. No human contact at all. Still no job.

The other day, the pharmacist asked the routine question here in NHS-land: "Do you pay for your prescriptions?" I said I did. She looked at her screeen, checked my birth date, & said: "Not any more." I'm so old I get NHS prescriptions for free. I really wanted to shout: "Give me ALL of the drugs!"
