I think it was some rant in the newspaper a few years ago that was whining about The Youth Of Today and compiling: text messaging, tiktok, gangsta rap, hashtags, etc, into one stereotype. boomers think everyone under 50 is a permanent kid and don't even spot generational divides appearing to a point

I also think the boundary between gen Z and millennial is very vague. there's some things that I consider after my time (stomp clap hey for example) that is more of a gen Z thing. the older generations in charge also see both generations as an indistinct mass of young people that they hate
