I have BPD. BPD is not politically revolutionary. We don't "pos(e) a risk to power". We have a mental illness that causes immense suffering to those around us and ourselves. There is nothing revolutionary about BPD, and conversely, nothing reactionary about treatments like DBT. We need help.

I went vegetarian at 14 and had people trying to sneak meat into my food, calling me slurs, waving pieces of ham in my face, telling me I was going to die from poor health, refusing to provide options at meals, etc, but to this day I say I'm vegan and people are like "omg, so you're JUDGY."

Two years ago, the progressive group that I volunteer with had to complain to our state party leadership for not having gender inclusive restrooms at the conventions. Because several trans friends of ours were accosted by Michigan Democrats in the bathrooms. And they still show up.
