We’ve been working on this all month. He wanted to be a borb. I helped with design and building the cardboard sphere and hemisphere with beak. We painted and decorated it together. I literally designed it so I was sure it could fit through the narrow doorways in our house.

Had to take the 12yo to school cause he couldn’t really carry his backpack and I wanted to make sure my borb (black-capped chickadee) could manage stairs safely. 🐡🪶

My husband was worried about safety climbing stairs if he can’t see his feet. I pointed out that I couldn’t see my feet when pregnant. He pointed out that wasn’t a sudden development. The 12yo then reported that he can see his feet through the costume.
