The thing about the tired-ass jab that critics are failed filmmakers is that you know what? Some of us are! I made a bunch of movies in my 20s while I was writing my first reviews and found I was better at this. 🤷🏻♂️ But: it made me a KINDER, more forgiving critic. I know how hard it is to do it well!
