I'm like you in consuming 1000-1200 calories per day, even running 4-5 5Ks per week and lifting weights. And I'm not thin! It is amazing (somewhat derogatory) what our bodies can adjust to.

I’m only a month or so in but I was telling D that the quieting of the hunger made me realize how much of my brain energy has been devoted to that. Like I think I have been some sort of hungry for most of my adult life.

Lemon is literally just light crossing over a lemon. Enys Men is sort of about a woman trapped on an island, but mostly the lichen she’s studying, and The History of Concrete is about paying more attention to the concrete around you (and a surprising amount of Ohio).
