Who is ultimately paying for this, a govt grant to a community scheme? How is this being assessed in terms of value for money. Car park canopy solar is very expensive compared with alternatives. It's often well intentioned folk without the facts. Yes, of course, the installer will make money.

Love stuff like this, but pricing doesn't seem cheap enough for EV, even the most expensive electricity market in the U.S. has cheapest EV rates. Looks like avg rates and EPA range, rates you can adjust, wrote in what range I'd see in Portland (link below).
