Sounds like the right choice. My impression of a fish-eye lens would make the warp too consistent around the focal point, look less dramatic. Warping different elements without a consistent linking anchor for all items adds to the atmosphere.

Show PostThis version of the chapter art is interesting. Although there are less differences than I thought, the rotation makes more of difference in impression that I would have thought. Also, translucent protagonists makes the image more surreal. The more I compare though, I can see more warp employed too
