I saw Bubba Ho-Tep shortly after it was released. I can't remember if I enjoyed it, though. I should watch it again.
Show PostThe flying silver sphere freaked me out when I saw the film. It's a wonder I didn't get nightmares. 😲 Speaking of which, the director, writer & producer, Don Coscarelli Jr., based the film on a nightmare he had. The Tall Man, or Jebediah Morningside (played by Angus Scrimm), is indeed creepy. 😁
Show PostYes, about four of them. And I've had no interest in seeing any of them. You're right. The original was the best. 😊 Reggie Horace Bannister, the actor who played Reggie, passed away just recently. He had Lewy body dementia & Parkinson's, and died at age 80 on August 9, 2026.
