Thanks. I’ve had some slow glacial improvement since my relapse, and know the improvement may may not be linear. I’m hopeful. But he‘s 84 and not in the best health.

That being said. I have had varying levels of function over the years. At times the future looked very bleak and then I had improvement. Sometimes from treatment... sometimes for no apparent reason. I am to the point where I never say never. Hope for the best & plan for the worst.

5 miles can be the same as 5,000. We can only do as much as we can do safely. It's hard for many to understand the reality.

My dad lives in a nursing home 5 miles away. It’s been a year since I was well enough to visit and since my relapse it seems quite possible I’ll never see him in person again. #MECFS
