That stuff absolutely boils my piss. I was driving a hire car home not long ago and it started beeping and the steering wheel started shuddering because collision detection thought I was going to crash into the gate. It almost made me crash into the gate.

We were planning to move to an electric car. I knew it would happen soon. I'd have to work out driving an automatic at some point. But I can't do it now. I just want our stick shift diesel back, but it's a write off. Fuck this week.

Feeling my age, or muscle memory, or shredded nerves, or something. Insurer arranged delivery of a hire car so we could get home. It's an automatic, one year old, a computer with a car attached. I can't drive it. Don't feel safe in Cornish lanes in a car I don't feel in control of. It's going back.
