I sometimes think how lucky my grandpa is. He died in April 2009, a few months after Obama was inaugurated. He was a lifelong liberal who fought in World War II who was desperate for the US to transcend its past — and he thought it had. Oh, grandpa, I'm glad you don't have to see us now

Yet the thing about Kemper is that they make the asks coming from Amazon and the Bellevue Chamber on transportation look more reasonable.

BTW if I were going to do a big two article spread in Seattle's daily newspaper on Kemper Development, I would mention the fact that the company has been trying (and often succeeding) at keeping Bellevue's transportation system stuck in 1950 for decades.
