I found something similar with paint. Some painted items aren't sold as toys, because the paint would have to pass food safety standards.

There is no FDIC, but the stable-coins ("stable") implement monetary policies. So, congratulations, you've reinvented fiat currency, just worse and dumber. IIUC the crypto cultists are trying to get crypto as "legitimate" part of banking system. Would that imply FDIC backing? Seems bad!

I'd cycle through every one of those within 30mins! My first ever Head of School had a tendency, if he was looking for you, to leave a signed post-it on your desk saying just 'a word'. Coming back from a lecture to find that, was always convinced I'd been fired - despite this he was actually nice!
