I swear, peer pressure has been more of an issue in my 50s than it ever was a teen. But teens get fun pressure like weed and adults get boring “Protein. Protein! PROTEIN!” bullshit.

I told a guy at the bus stop that I liked his shoes, and he said he found them while dumpster diving. And then he added, “It’s called dumpster diving but that’s just a name. Don’t go diving in. You can’t swim around in there like Scrooge McDuck.” Yeah, thanks for the tip.
