Final verdict? Yeah it's a fun time, I liked it. It suffers first game syndrome a bit, but looking past all that is a fun time for anyone that's willing to try. Good game 👍
Show PostIt has its quirks and definitely demanded more than I was expecting, but it was actually a pretty fun time. The Disney charm is kinda lost on me since almost nothing here is my skrunkly childhood film (except Peter Pan, but I kinda dislike that world), but it's interesting at the very least.
Show PostStory is storying, I'm already confused but also intrigued to see where it goes. Again I won't talk anything big spoilers, but I did unlock both the secret things after the credits so that definitely grabbed my interest too. So... guess I will continue playing the series then.
Show PostExploration of the maps was the mixed bag for me. Like maybe I am too zoomer brained, but like DUDE there's a few instances where it's like where the fuck do I GO???? I didn't resort to any guides though, as eventually I did find my way after running around in circles. But sometimes it is like ????
Show PostLike it's definitely got some dated elements that gave me some grief, but it's got the case of "first game syndrome" so I won't fault it too hard about it. The combat is really solid, I quite liked it. I liked it enough to spend like 15+ hours just grinding enemies in the different worlds.
