I think AI gets a break and people ignore it more - except for art, sound, performance, the place you see the glaring issues. I also think all the slop farmers calm down and realize, they won't see their $100 back and need to do work. Xbox continues to suck and not make sense...

If I was writing the movie of game development, with the layoffs, the upheavals, AI... About now, I would introduce a massive game that takes everyone's attention for a little bit, brings back players, gets people to marvel at what can be made... And then kick off act 3 in the new year...
