It is so incredibly hard to exist as an artist right now. Every single platform is stealing your work, but legally, by removing your right to say no to AI. And it's just... exhausting. I don't want to have to find new platforms or constantly worry about who is stealing my work for AI.

Been trying to think of something cheering to do alongside writing the next Constellationism chapter while ao3’s down. Wondered about setting up a tiny buttondown mailing list & trying to write a whole thing in 4 wks by sending it out a chapter at a time. It would be ROPEY quality, but perhaps fun?

Also I hope no one feels pressured to crosspost or host fics elsewhere while AO3 is down. If you have the time/energy for that, great! Share the fic so the rest of us can enjoy it 😄 But it's also totally valid if you can't be bothered/don't have the time.
