yes but society should still do more to make the situation better and make peoples survival less depending on finding and taking the correct medicine.

Brain could be tricking you into hating everything. It can work both ways. Finding the right medication can help to improve daily life so much. It doesn't mean a situation isn't bad, but it can help with making decisions for the better. Fighting yourself less gives you more daily mental resources.

But for real though, ask your doctor about SSRIs. I went a long time without getting a prescription and eventually I hit a wall that I just couldn't get over for like a decade and just about lost hope until I remembered that there's meds I can just take, and wouldn't you know it, i'm getting better
