There is no doubt that this is an overleveraged bubble, that five or six companies keep lending money back and forth to each other to make their books look cleaner than they are, and even despite this they are all deeply underwater. Ed's problem is he predicted the market would correct for euphoria.

The economics of AI are uniquely ridiculous and bad, though. The money isn't there without a government bailout. They are literally trillions in debt, some of them independently, purely on infrastructure costs that will only keep rising. That the scam has been allowed to continue is not his fault.
