Hey academics! I am seeking advice from faculty who have implemented no tech policies in their classes. How did it go? Were there issues? Please, I don't need anyone's opinion about this if you haven't actually taught a class with no tech. I would like to hear from folks who have done it. 🗃️

Doing it this term. It’s been very good in lectures. I polled the students at mid-semester. Almost all were happy to have no screens in lectures, as long as I supply them with help with notes. Students had good pushback on allowing tablets in discussion, which I have now agreed to.
