Heaven is being judged unfairly imo. He’s not getting much game time, and when he plays, he’s played out of position. Same with Yoro, who would be my first pick at CB with De Ligt. Not getting a LB and a striker in the summer is just amateurish.

I don’t agree with that. Yoro has been excellent, even when he’s playing out of position. Play him alongside De Ligt/Heaven. Maguire is so slow, it just irks me to watch him.

Michael Carrick loves this football club. Nobody doubts that. But 9 games without a win. Another second-half capitulation. What the fuck was said at half-time? And if nothing was said, that’s even worse. Sentiment doesn’t win football matches. MUFC need a manager, not a supporter in the dugout.

It sounds good in theory but it could also destroy their confidence if it goes badly.

I do have doubts about what level he can reach. This season he looks more like a useful backup than a first team authoritative leader (which every elite goalkeeper needs to be). Shrinking violet. Not helped by the waste of space players in front of him.
