Ever since I first saw #StarTrekTNG's "Skin of Evil" for the first time as a child, this part, when Tasha Yar addresses Picard, has made me shed a tear or ten. From now on, this will carry so much more meaning. "The heart of an explorer and the soul of a poet", indeed! LLAP, Sir Patrick Stewart!🖖

I was out trick or treating with my kids, and naturally, I wore a #StarTrek uniform. A kid comes up behind us and was so excited to see another Star Trek costume. This kid was dressed up as Scotty 🥹. There’s hope, y’all. 🖖🏻

October gave us coffee, stars, Trek, kindness, creativity, pumpkins, ghosts and an unreasonable amount of candy. Not a bad month. Tomorrow the skeletons return to storage. Probably. I'm not here to tell anyone how to live. Happy Halloween, lovelies. 🎃🧡
