All of this, of course, is media performance: We're now in the process of Millennials hitting their Boomers-electing-Clinton-in-92 "All of this belongs to us now" demographic/economic ascendancy moment and 'The Market' is awake to this, so now soon everyone else will be.
Show PostLike yes, it does sort of seem like GenZ might have some performative-reactionary energy. They were raised by a generation of bitterly-divorced anti-careerists who're still mad into their 60s that "Seattle homeless" didn't stick as a lifestyle aesthetic for longer than 3 years. Be kind 😉
Show PostI would ask that Millennials try to remember, before you judge Zoomers too harshly for anything, that most of them by definition had GenX for parents - you have to assume A LOT of baggage and damage there 🤷♂️
Show PostNobody wants this and it will go badly. They're imagining the AI scanning your digital trail and guessing your ideal snacks, but everyone knows all that happens is MONTHS of getting offered vague recommendations for every ad you accidentally hovered over (or worse)!
Show PostOh, buddy... no, no. I think everyone is too stupid. The voters, the non-voters, the people they're voting FOR, myself about 40% of the time... human beings are f---ing idiots. Have you met us?
