Crockett was a national campaign co-chair for VP Harris. If Harris runs I hope Crockett has that role again & maybe a DOJ role in the Civil Rights division if she wants. Stevens would crush it in the office of Legislative Affairs. Or maybe they can go make money on tv, where they’d both excel. 🤷‍♂️

When we lose Crockett & Stevens in the House it’s going to be a real loss. They’re great in committees, they’re great campaigners, & Stevens particularly is a prolific legislator. They’ll be fine. Personally I hope both have a place in a 2028 Dem admin. They’re too talented to leave altogether.

Rep. Crockett & Rep. Stevens have both been doing work to help Democrats & doing their day jobs looking out for their constituents. More people could learn from that. Abdul could frankly learn from James on how to develop some thicker skin & navigate being defined by a Republican opponent.
