it's hard not to feel bitter about it all. as someone who loves to write and has been writing my entire life, who strives to improve on my writing and try new things. it just sucks feeling like my work is seen as lesser and in comparison to other creators, writers don't matter at all

I don't even care much about my fics being uploaded to some drive but the attitude surrounding this and the fact it's barely been 2 days since ao3 has been down and it hardly took like 5 hours for the people demanding our writing be available to them at all times to completely turn on us. again

everyone has a lot to say about fic writers and how we should do this or that, or that we're whiny and entitled, and then ao3 goes down and suddenly it's the end of the world, you can't live without your fanfiction, here's thousands of fics on a fucking google drive despite google scraping for genAI
