Marcel was found outside of a small shelter in rural Québec last year. An employee was coming in to work one morning and heard crying. When she located the source it was this raggedy little 3 month old kitten with a terrible eye injury.

Our friend @stonkers.bsky.social drove across the border to get him for us because our passports were expired. We wanted to give him a French name to honor the province where he was saved so we looked up many, many names and eventually settled on Marcel. He is robust and healthy and happy today!

Ghoulie Bar (1995-1996) : Bubble gum-flavored ice pops colored and shaped to look like a grimacing, decaying skulls, complete with an empty eye socket. In the other eye socket was a gumball made to look like a bloodshot eyeball. They were sold exclusively from ice cream trucks
