Fact check: Buffett is not recorded as having said these words. He did make some similar comments re: his company's sale of Apple stock & the taxes they had to pay on that sale. We want to believe things are true when we agree with them, but now is a time to be extra scrupulous about facts, pls.

Trump admitted he blocked energy funding to punish blue states he lost in 2024, including $586 million for Illinois. Courts ruled it illegal. He's still blocking the money. Bipartisan permitting reform won't work if Trump ignores the law. He must reinstate the grants first.
